About Us

Starting in 2022, with the support of the Rx Foundation, National Sea Change (NSC) has launched and is growing. Building on our New Jersey-based power model to normalize harm reduction, we are bringing together those with lived experience and state-wide organizers to build power and fight for solutions like compassionate health care solutions, full harm reduction services and proper use of Opioid Settlement Funds.

We are building community, peer support, and collective power by and for those directly impacted by SUD. Uniting harm reduction focused recovery community centers and community organizers state-by-state in the US, we work to share best practices in policy and implementation, develop communications and narrative, and foster compassionate support to identify a path to full harm reduction. With intentional strategy and lived experience, we create greater health equity, human dignity, and mutual respect.
